Spray Tanning
How do I prepare for my spray tan?
For the best results, exfoliate and shave at least 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid lotions, oils, perfumes, deodorant, and makeup on the day of your tan, and wear loose, dark clothing.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear loose, dark clothing and sandals or slides if possible. Tight clothing can rub against your fresh tan and affect the results.
Will I be naked?
Most clients choose to tan without clothing for the most even, natural-looking results, but what you wear is completely your choice. You're welcome to wear underwear, a swimsuit, or our disposable garments if you're more comfortable. Our trained professionals provide a private, comfortable, judgment-free experience. Keep in mind any clothing worn during your tan will create tan lines.
How long do I wait before I rinse?
Your rinse time depends on the solution selected for your appointment. We'll let you know exactly when to rinse before you leave. Be sure to follow the rinse instructions for the best results.
Will I be orange?
No! We pride ourselves on custom coloring for each client. With proper care and aftercare, we can assure you that you will never turn orange.
What's the difference between Rapid and 8-Hour?
Rapid Rinse refers to when you take your first rinse after your appointment. Rapid Development means your tan continues to develop after you rinse, with your final color appearing over the next 24 hours. With 8-Hour Development, you wear it for the time given to you, rinse, and your color will already be developed.
How long will my spray tan last?
With proper preparation and aftercare, your spray tan typically lasts 7–10 days.
What should I avoid after getting my spray tan?
Until your first rinse, avoid sweating, swimming, pets licking or scratching you, rain, or anything that gets your skin wet. After rinsing, keep skin moisturized daily and avoid mani/pedis, long hot showers, chlorine/salt water, exfoliating products, and harsh soaps to help your tan last longer.
Can I work out after my spray tan?
Wait until your first rinse to start exercising. Sweat can interfere with the tanning solution while it develops.
How often should I get a spray tan?
Most clients schedule a spray tan every 2 weeks to maintain their tan.
